A good sized porch leads into the hallway. The recently enlarged sitting room has a wood burning stove and enjoys pleasant views of the wooded slopes surrounding the village..
The large kitchen/diner has an oil fired rayburn providing full central heating and hot water in the Spring and Autumn, with an electric immersion for the summer
A very special feature of Little Mead is the spacious sun lounge/diner specifically built to take advantage of the splendid views up the valley.
There is a ground floor double bedroom (king size), a bathroom with we and a shower room with wc. Stairs lead up from the kitchen to two bedrooms, one double (4ft 6") and one twin. Both have views over the river.
Leading off the kitchen is a "garden room" with door to the riverside garden. Over the years we have opened up delightful views of the river to be enjoyed from the lawn behind the cottage, garden table and chairs are provided.
